Beverage Benefit at the Lone Star Sunday, July 13 (4 to 8 PM)

The Golden Gate Guards is a leather-Levi's®, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, open to both men and women, that serves the San Francisco Bay Area. Our purpose is to:

• Have fun!
• Promote fellowship, camaraderie and social interaction among people in the alternative-lifestyle communities
• Host safe, sane, and enjoyable events for those with an interest in leather, Levi's®, motorcycles and uniforms
• Provide education and opportunities for newcomers to learn about various alternative-lifestyles, leather, Levi's®, motorcycles and uniforms
• Raise money for selected other non-profit 501(c)3 charity organizations

Golden Gate Guard Charities for 2008

Each year the Golden Gate Guards focus their fund raising efforts on two non-profit organizations.  This year we chose two youth oriented charities:

May 16 - 18, 2008:  Springtime In Yosemite Run

Forty-two guests explored the always spectacular Yosemite National Park.  Especially outstanding this year was the view from Glacier Point with all the waterfalls gushing full from melting snow.  Motorcycle riders ventured to Yosemite from both the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas.  A long group ride through the park on Saturday was lead by Steve Kennedy.  Jim Yarbrough made a big batch of his famous beef stew for Friday dinner.  Steaks were grilled to perfection on Saturday night by Phil Garabedian.   The Warriors M/C Club hosted an open bar and provided a wide variety of palate stimulating appetizers.  More pictures are on our Yosemite page.
